The location of the cottages is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful countryside and offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. the owner of the cottages is friendly and accommodating, providing fresh flowers and milk as lovely little extras. the kitchen in some of the cottages is well-equipped, with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine available.

Some of the cottages may be a bit dated and in need of updating, with cramped kitchens and beds that may not be suitable for taller individuals.

I stayed at Valley Cottages for 10 nights and it was perfect for my needs. The self-catering option gave me the freedom I wanted and the hot water supply was great. The clean cotton bedding added a nice touch of comfort, and the location was quiet and peaceful. I loved being able to easily access the local area and use the cottages as a base for further travels. The host was friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was clean, warm, and had everything I needed. One of the highlights for me was being greeted every morning by the peacocks, and the bonus of free logs for the fire added to the cozy atmosphere of the place. I would definitely return to this wonderful family-owned business.

    Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I had a fantastic stay at Valley Cottages! The cottage was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a self-catering holiday. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, like spare bin bags and tea towels being provided. The beautiful garden and peaceful surroundings added to the overall experience. The location was perfect for exploring North Wales, with Conwy and its stunning castle just a short drive away. I would definitely recommend Valley Cottages for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

    Nothing all good! 😊

The location of the cottages is ideal for those seeking a peaceful and remote getaway. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, you'll feel completely immersed in nature. the cottages themselves are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. the owners go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome, with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and milk in the fridge. You'll also have access to a private garden with stunning views of the valley.

There is no dishwasher available in the cottages, which could be a slight inconvenience for those who prefer not to spend time doing dishes.

We were pleasantly surprised by the little extras, like fresh milk in the fridge and fresh flowers. The double bed upstairs was very comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to cook our own meals. The cottage had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a lovely open fire to keep us warm. The location was peaceful and quiet, providing a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding the cottages and found it to be an ideal base for our adventures. we highly recommend Valley Cottages for a cozy and comfortable stay in the countryside.

The welcome pack was a lovely touch, with fresh flowers, chocolates, and Welsh milk waiting for us. the cottage was clean and tidy, with plenty of room and comfortable beds. the remote location offered breathtaking views of the hilly valley and a peaceful atmosphere. We loved having our own private garden with a table to enjoy the scenery. the Wi-Fi was a bonus, especially for the teens. the converted stable block had all the amenities we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a log fire. Close enough to local spots with a car, it was the perfect base for exploring the area.

We would have loved a second shower to accommodate our family of four more comfortably. the largest saucepan was not big enough to cook a 500gm bag of pasta, which was a bit inconvenient.

The host of the cottages was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to assist us during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the clean and warm accommodation, making it a cozy place to come back to after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights was being greeted every morning by the beautiful peacocks roaming around the area. We also appreciated the fact that there were free logs provided for the fireplace, adding an extra touch to the cozy atmosphere.

There wasn't much going on around the area, with limited local attractions and a not-so-great experience at the nearby pub. It was also a bit inconvenient that there were no shops within walking distance, requiring us to travel quite a bit to find decent options.
